My new favorite station to watch on television is the MLB Network and on Hot Stove Al Leiter, Harold Reynolds and the witty Sean Casey let us all know what they would do.
Al Leiter
1. Reveal 104 names on the Mitchell Report
2. Take responsibility along with players and everyone involved with what has happened in the era of steroids.
3. NO DH - move to small ball. (Not so sure about this one)
Harold Reynolds
1. Reveal 104 names and move forward.
2. Post the fact that we have a new policy. (I totally agree with this, it doesn't seem like anyone realizes that baseball has actually taken action and set rules)
* 2nd Violation = 100 Games
* 3rd Violation = Lifetime Ban
3. Create a steroid commission - owners and commissioners office and players in order to change the nations mentality.
Sean Casey
1. Stop being so serious! Everyone is being serious even the President!
2. Shorten Spring Training - 3 weeks should be enough and if pitchers needs more time they can report early.
3. Mondays Off - Too many consecutive games are being played.
4. All Hitters get one mulligan per season and they can save it for the playoffs so if you are the 3rd out bottom of the 9th in game seven of the World Series you can have a do over.
I don't know how realistic Sean Casey's ideas are but I would definitely do what needed to be done in order for everyone to move forward and just enjoy the play on the field. So now I want to hear from you. What would you do if you could have Bud Selig's job?
GO A'S!!!!
