Just to keep this reasonably short and sweet, everyone knows the numbers and all I want to say is congrats to Rice and one of my all time favorite baseball players, RICKEY HENDERSON.
All of us A's fans can hold our head a little higher today. I have always loved the A's, win or lose but when these things come up and a player you watched and loved for years is honored like this and every article shows him in the Green and Yellow you can't help but hold your head just a little higher than normal.
Thank you Rickey for providing me some of the best childhood memories a girl could have. I wish I could see you in Cooperstown!
